These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Photoro mobile application (“App”) and any related services provided by Fasten Pty Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you confirm you have an active Pro subscription and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree or do not hold a valid subscription, please do not use the App.
1.1 Grant of Licence. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and maintaining an active Pro subscription, Fasten grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on any iOS device that you own or control.
1.2 Restrictions. You may not (and may not permit any third party to) reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, distribute, modify, sell, or rent any part of the App.
2.1 Pro Subscription Required. Use of the App’s features requires an active auto-renewable Pro subscription purchased via the App Store. All purchases, renewals, and billing are handled by Apple and managed in-app via RevenueCat.
2.2 Products & Pricing. Photoro offers two auto-renewable subscriptions:
2.3 Cancellation & Refunds. You may manage or cancel your Pro subscription at any time via your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are subject to Apple’s refund policies. Cancellation ends future billing but does not refund already-paid periods.
2.4 Fair Usage Policy. While Pro users have unlimited access to conversion features, fair usage limits may apply. To ensure a high-quality experience for all users, we may implement rate limits if usage significantly exceeds typical patterns. These limits are designed to be generous and should not impact regular usage.
2.5 Pricing & Subscription Changes. We reserve the right to change pricing, subscription terms, or benefits associated with in-app purchases. Any material changes will be communicated through the App or on our website.
3.1 What We Do. Photoro transforms (“animefies”) photos you select into a stylized “anime” rendering, using OpenAI’s image-generation API.
3.2 Ephemeral Processing. Your photo is temporarily uploaded to our servers solely for real-time processing. We do not store, retain, or use your images for any purpose beyond delivering the converted result.
3.3 No Third-Party Storage. We do not save your images in Supabase, Cloudinary, or any long-term storage.
We reserve the right to limit the number of conversions and may change or terminate our services at any time.
5.1 No Account Required. We do not require you to create an account or supply personal information beyond your Apple ID and subscription status.
5.2 Analytics & Diagnostics. We may collect anonymized crash logs and performance metrics (e.g. OS version, device model, timestamps) to improve stability. This data is not linked to any personal identity.
5.3 App Store Data. RevenueCat may collect minimal purchase and subscription status data (“Premium” entitlement) to enable Pro features.
Photoro integrates with these third-party services, each governed by its own privacy terms:
All rights, title, and interest in the App (including code, design, trademarks) remain with Fasten or its licensors. Your uploaded photos remain your property.
The App is provided “as-is” and “as-available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. Fasten will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by posting the revised Terms in-App. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
